How We Build Your Fiber Network
Learn about our step-by-step process for constructing a state-of-the-art fiber network, from planning to activation.
01
Planning & Permits
Before physical construction ever begins, Fort Worth Fiber will survey an area and identify the best way to create or expand the fiber network, and file the necessary permits with the city to make it happen.
02
Neighborhood Construction
After marking utilities, our teams will use specialized equipment to pull fiber lines through underground conduit or attach them to utility poles. At times, our team may need to trim trees or branches for safety.
03
Individual Installations
Once construction is complete and fiber internet is available at your specific location, you’ll receive multiple communications like door hangers and mailers so you can sign up and schedule installation at your address.
